Eligible consumers are the real or legal persons who have the freedom to select their suppliers. The suppliers who consume electricity that exceeds a certain amount annually are given the opportunity to elect their own suppliers by the “Eligible Consumers Regulation” published in 2003. In order to be a eligible consumer you should be consuming an electricity amount that exceeds the amount given in “Eligible Consumer Limits” which is published by the Energy Market Regulation Board (EPDK). The Eligible Consumer Limit is determined to be 1,600 kWh/year for 2019, which equals an approximate invoice amount of 67 TL when calculated over the commercial establishment tariffs.
